IBM NetVista Memory Upgrade

Postby mrSparkie » Sat Feb 07, 2009 3:12 pm

I bought an IBM NetVista a while back for my Son to use. I appears over the last few months the PC is getting slower. I checked it over, and found it only had 256 Meg memory. Will a memory upgrade really benefit the Netvista?

I had a pc with some memory amount, and when I started buying biggr programs to use, the pc ran slow. I know this because I had someone install some more memory and it ran much faster. What I missed was there are certain memory requirements for programs to run, and that is the bare minimum for the program to work. I would suggest you look at the programs you use, and read their operating requirements. You might find they have a suggested level of memory above the bare requirements.
