This Old House and Child Protection...

I was watching This Old House a few days ago, and noticed something very weird. The kids were working with Tommy to build a set of stilts? Those things that let you walk around taller? Well they were hammering, drilling, and screwing with cordless drill, etc, and guess what they were missing.

Let me guess, two choices. One if they weren't wearing them, they were in camera view on a desk/workbench. However, I'm guessing the real irony is they were wearing them, and their heads were very well protected.

Yeah they were wearing them on their head. Not great head protection, but zero eye protection. Like little kids they leaned into the screw and had their face down on it. It made it very visible they had safety glasses on their heads. If they screw popped, I've seen them fly. Sad that a professional organization like the This Old House show had so much lack in supervision of the children.
