OK, since my house has various levels of shade, and the shadows move with the Sun, I have to grow tomatoes in buckets. I tried growing tomatoes in the ground, but any area of my yard seems to only get a few hours of Sun. So the tomatoes needed to be mobile. I tried growing tomatoes in pots, but the large pots were getting too big to move by hand. So now I'm going to get a couple of Home Depot buckets and and start there. I am doing everything normal, started with seeds and now they are seedlings. Since pots are designed for plants, do I have to do anything special to bucket grow tomatoes? Also, are these buckets strong enough to last a whole growing season?
